Industrial Affiliates Program

The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics has an Industrial Affiliates Program, which was established in 1982, for the purpose of promoting positive, open communication between the School and aerospace-oriented industries. Industry support of the IAP provides the School with unrestricted funds that are used for maintaining state-of-the-art computer hardware and software, teaching laboratories, student support, and the professional development of faculty members. The annual membership fee for the IAP is $10,000.

Some of the benefits of being a member of the IAP include: a faculty liaison between your company and the School; MS and PhD theses listing; a display case to promote your company, which is located in the School; your company's name listed on this website with a hyperlink to your website; the opportunity to speak in Aeronautics and Astronautics classes; and, general assistance by the director of communications and development for the coordination of campus visits with faculty and staff.

For more information about the IAP and how your company can become a member, please contact Rita Baines, the director of development, at (765) 494-9124.
